The step between washing your face and everything else. Wheatgrass microgreens grown on our Philadelphia farm, jasmine, and hyaluronic acid in a four ounce bottle.
This is the hydrating toner. It is not an astringent that leaves you squeaky. Hyaluronic acid pulls water into the surface of the skin, so whatever you put on next has something to sit on.
Jasmine here is the real thing, both the flower and the tea, so the scent is soft and green rather than perfumed.
How to use
- Cleanse first. This goes on after washing, not instead of it.
- Apply to damp skin. A few drops into clean palms or onto a cotton pad. Press it in rather than wiping.
- Do not let it dry. Follow with your serum or moisturizer while your face is still slightly damp. Hyaluronic acid works better with something sealing it in.
Morning and night. Start once a day if your skin is new to toners.
What it targets
- Tight skin after cleansing. If your face feels stripped the minute you towel off, this is the one to reach for.
- Dullness. Wheatgrass microgreens are rich in chlorophyll and antioxidants that help support a fresher, healthier-looking finish.
- Flat, thirsty-looking skin. Hyaluronic acid holds water at the surface, so skin looks plumper and less papery.
- Environmental stress. The botanicals help support the appearance of skin resilience against pollution and weather.
What is inside
- Wheatgrass microgreens. Harvested young, when chlorophyll and antioxidant concentrations are at their highest. Wheatgrass carries saponarin, an antioxidant flavonoid that is most concentrated in the young blade.
- Hyaluronic acid. Listed as sodium hyaluronate. It holds many times its own weight in water at the surface of the skin.
- Jasmine. Flower extract and tea extract, both real botanical extracts rather than a fragrance blend.
- Witch hazel. Standardized to fourteen percent alcohol. It is what gives the toner its light, quick-drying feel.
Full ingredients: Aqua (Distilled Water), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract (standardized to 14% alcohol), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Glycerin, Triticum Aestivum (Wheatgrass Microgreens) Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid), Lactobacillus (and) Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Tea Extract, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Flower Extract, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Citric Acid, Sodium Phytate.
Safety
Contains witch hazel with alcohol. Standardized to fourteen percent. If your skin is very dry or sensitive, patch test and start with once a day.
For external use only. Avoid the eye area, and rinse thoroughly with water if it gets in your eyes. If irritation occurs, stop using it.
Keep the cap on and store in a cool place out of direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
