Hi, I'm Glo Cherny — born and raised in Philadelphia, raised by a lineage of women who believed in the healing power of plants long before it was trending.
My earliest memories were made in my grandmother's garden, learning to identify leaves not just by name, but by what they could do — soothe a burn, brighten the skin, calm a rash. Those lessons stayed with me as I grew into adulthood, chasing beauty not through bottles filled with chemicals, but through nature's unmatched intelligence.
Years later, my husband and I launched PENN GROWS, an indoor microgreens farm. Our mission was simple: grow clean, powerful greens for the body. But one day while tending a tray of broccoli microgreens, it clicked — if microgreens are potent enough to heal the inside of the body, why not the outside too?
So I started experimenting.
Broccoli for antioxidant protection. Radish for its anti-inflammatory magic. Sunflower for its vitamin-rich hydration. I combined these microgreens with botanicals, clays, and oils — always earth-derived, never synthetic. After months of testing and refining, the first Microglams product was born.
