Details

A jar of dry powder and nothing else. You mix what you need, when you need it, which is why there is no preservative in here and why it keeps.

Bentonite clay, cantaloupe microgreens grown on our Philadelphia farm, green tea, sea moss, and cucumber. Two teaspoons and a splash of water makes a mask. The rest stays dry on the shelf.

This is the cooling one. Cucumber keeps it light and green, and it is the mask for a hot day or a face that looks tired and puffy in the mirror. Two ounces of powder, which goes further than you would think.

How to use
  1. Mix. One to two teaspoons of powder into a small bowl. Add water a little at a time until it is a smooth paste, about the thickness of yogurt. Rose water works too.
  2. Apply. An even layer over clean, dry skin. Stay clear of the eyes and lips.
  3. Wait. Ten to fifteen minutes. Take it off while it is still slightly tacky.
  4. Rinse. Warm water and a soft cloth. Pat dry and follow with your moisturizer.

Once or twice a week. Mix only what you are about to use, since the paste has no preservative in it. Keep the rest of the jar dry.

Do not let it crack. A mask that dries to a hard crust pulls moisture back out of your skin. Tacky is the target.

What it targets
  • Skin that looks tired. The cool, wet layer is the whole point. Ten minutes of it helps skin look more awake.
  • Shine and congestion. Clay absorbs surface oil, so skin looks matte and clearer after a rinse.
  • Dullness. Cantaloupe microgreens carry vitamins A and C, and the rinse-off leaves skin looking fresher.
  • Masks that leave you tight. Cucumber keeps this one from stripping, so skin feels comfortable afterward.
What is inside
  • Cantaloupe microgreens. Harvested young, when vitamin and antioxidant concentrations are at their highest. They help support the look of fresh, hydrated skin.
  • Cucumber. Cool and clean. It gives this one its scent and keeps the finish from feeling tight.
  • Bentonite clay. The base. It absorbs surface oil and gives the mask its body.
  • Green tea, sea moss, and rice powder. Green tea for antioxidants, sea moss for minerals, rice powder to keep the texture smooth rather than gritty.

Full ingredients: Bentonite Clay, Cucumis Melo Var. Cantalupensis (Cantaloupe) Microgreen Powder, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Oil, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Powder, Chondrus Crispus (Sea Moss) Powder, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Grain Powder, Mica.

Safety

For external use only. Patch test a small area before the first full use. Avoid the eye and lip area. If stinging or burning occurs, rinse it off immediately with cool water.

This is a fine powder. Mix gently and avoid breathing it in. Keep the jar dry and closed, mix only what you will use, and do not store leftover paste.

If you mix with apple cider vinegar, dilute it and expect more tingle. Skip the vinegar entirely if your skin is sensitive or if you are using retinoids or acids.

Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place.
